John T. Minton

John "JT" Thomas Minton, 60, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home. He was a dearly loved husband, father, son, and brother. His heart belonged to the sea where he worked for 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Reverend Danny R. McAlister and his aunt, Flossie Cavanah.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lora McAlister Minton; his children, April Toyne (Clay), Ashley Ferguson (Nathanial), Ryan Patrick Minton and Christy Nicole Minton; his stepchildren, Sara Mitchell, Michael Mitchell and Donald Mitchell (Courtney); father Tony Minton (Yvonne); mother, Rachel Taylor (Brenda), stepfather, John Taylor; six grandchildren, and his siblings, Cheryl Tait (Douglas), Debbie Mayfield, Danny Minton (Jenny), Steven Minton (Marty0 and Diana Mills.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Aiken will be officiating.
