Mary Margaret McFarlane

Mary Margaret McFarlane (nee Duffy) died peacefully at Alaris at Belgrove. She was 91. Born in Harrison, she was a lifelong resident.

Visiting will be on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Mass will be on Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church in Harrison and burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.

Mary was a member of The Ladies Auxillary of The American Legion in East Newark and was active with the Holy Cross and Harrison Seniors.

Wife of the late Alexander, she is survived by her sons and their wives: William A. and Joann McFarlane, John A. and Peggy McFarlane; her six grandchildren: William A., Jr., Heather Ann, Sean, Michelle, Jill and Jaclyn; eight great grandchidren; and her beloved nieces: Eileen Mercer and Joann Caratora.
