Rodger N. Keebaugh

Rodger N. Keebaugh, 69, Elliotts Run Road, Three Springs, PA died at 6:03 PM, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his home.

Born October 10, 1945 in Waynesboro, Franklin County, he was the son of the late Robert and Josephine (Hershey) Keebaugh.  He spent a lot of his youthful time with his grandparents, the late Gerald and Bertie Price.

He was married to Barbara Anderson on March 29, 1969.  Mrs. Keebaugh survives at their home.

Mr. Keebaugh is survived by a son Eddy Keebaugh and wife Kathy, Three Springs, PA and a daughter Sherry Mellott and husband Travis, also of Three Springs.  There are three grandchildren: Ashlee Hicks, Nathan Keebaugh and Brittany Welch along with two great grandchildren, Brenton and Jagger.

One brother, Randy Keebaugh, survives of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Mr. Keebaugh was a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA.

He retired in 1997 from Penn DOT where he worked as a surveyor.

Serving his country from 1965-1967 in the US Army, Mr. Keebaugh was stationed in Germany.  He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW, McConnellsburg, PA.

Mr. Keebaugh loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed outdoor activities and was an avid hunter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Sideling Hill Christian Church, 10424 Sipes Mill Road, Needmore, PA with Pastor William Swope and Pastor Travis Mellott officiating.  Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA from 6—8:00 PM Saturday evening and at the church one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

The Fulton Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.
