Maridee E. Disbrow

Maridee E. Disbrow, 78, of Coles Valley Road, Robertsdale, PA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her home after a long and courageous eighteen year battle with Alzheimer’s.
    
Born February 1, 1939 in Washington, D. C., she was a daughter of the late Elwood & Lillian (Blanton) Baker. She was united in marriage to John S. Disbrow on December 13, 1977 at Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Disbrow survives at their home.
    
She is also survived by two children,Jeffery Burton and Brett Burton, both of California, four step children, Emerson Disbrow, Jo Ann Bridgewater, James Disbrow and Jeanie Holder, two brothers, Elwood Baker and wife June of Texas and Chuck Baker and wife Jan of Mine Run, VA and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A step son, John Disbrow, Jr., preceded in death.
    
Mrs. Disbrow retired after a 20 year career of dog and animal grooming.
    
She loved animals, horseback riding, art and making flower arrangements.
    
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Marion Foor officiating. Interment will be made at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, RD, Robertsdale, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
    
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to the charity of one’s choice.
