Dixie Ann Carson

Dixie Ann Carson, 72, Blacklog Valley Road, Orbisonia, PA 17243 died at 1:55 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Woodland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Orbisonia.

Born May 21, 1943 at York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joe K. and May (Shaffer) Doll.  She was married to Harold “Chico” Carson who survives at their home.  

Mrs. Carson is survived by a brother Joe K. Doll, Jr., Vero Beach, Florida along with two nieces Keri Melhorn and Maggie Wintrode and a great niece and great nephew Alexi and Cody Wintrode.

Mrs. Carson was a member of the Huntingdon County Republican Committee.

She retired from the U. S. Postal Service Distribution Center at Harrisburg, PA.

Mrs. Carson was a passionate bingo player.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Pennsylvania Avenue, York, PA with Rev. Ed Seeley officiating.  Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA from 6—8:00 PM on Thursday evening.
