Warren Christian Williams

Warren Christian Williams was born to the late Andrew and Roena Williams on January 8, 1925 in Prince William County, Virginia and educated in Dumfries, Virginia.

In 1943 he enlisted in the United States Navy at the height of World War II. Warren leaves to cherish his memory a devoted daughter, Margaret Ann and son Delontu Smith. A second son, Bernard Greenhouse Sr. preceded him in death.  He is also survived by a grandson; Bernard Greenhouse Jr., two great grandchildren; four sisters; Hilda Howard, Thelma Lucas, Joyce and Annie Bates, three brothers; Charles, Joseph (Marcia) and Thurman Reid plus a host of other nieces and nephews. Warren accepted the Lord at age 7 years under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Oscar Jackson at.  He was a faithful member for 75 years and a diligent missionary until his health began to decline.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23 at First Mount Zion Baptist Church, 18410 Chapel Road, Dumfries, Virginia (map, directions) from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 noon. A committal service will immediately follow at Harden’s Hill Cemetery, 16622 Dumfries Road, Dumfries, Virginia (map, directions).
