Jack Vincent LoRe

Jack Vincent LoRe, 82, of Milford, PA passed away at Castle Point V.A. Medical Center, Castle Point, NY on January 17, 2012.  He was a graduate of Fordham University School of Business class of 1956 and was a retired Vice President of Modernfold Doors, Englewood, NJ.  Mr. LoRe was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, PA, a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War Veteran, a member, past treasurer and Chaplin of the Marine Corps, League Tri State Gung-Ho Detachment #908, Milford, PA and the Marsch-Kellogg American Legion Post# 139, Milford, PA.  A former member of Port Jervis Country Club, he also was a board member for 25 years and past treasurer for Pocono Mountain Water Forest.  Mr. LoRe for many years unselfishly volunteered his time at the G.A.I.T. Therapeutic Riding Center, Milford, PA.

The son of the late Michael and Antoinette (Guagliano) LoRe, he was born October 20, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY.  He was married to Camille (Pulvino) LoRe.

Survivors include his wife; daughter Valerie Soprano of Tega Cay, SC; two sons, Jack LoRe, Jr. of Pearl River, NY and Gregory LoRe of Milford, PA; one sister Ann Cirillo of Keyser, WV; five grandchildren Tanya, Kristi, Christopher, Nicholas, Danielle and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kaya.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St. Milford, PA (map/directions) on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 23, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, PA (map/directions) with the Monsignor Ray Rocco officiating.

Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
