Nancy L. White

Nancy L. White, 76, formerly of RD, Three Springs, PA and more recently of Bloomsburg, PA, died at 8:15 PM, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
    
Born March 8, 1941 at Lewistown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. & Alvertia (Beatty) Williams. She was united in marriage to Paul L. White on January 2, 1960 at the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, Shirleysburg, PA. Mr. White preceded in death May 4, 2012.
    
She is survived by three daughters, Catherine Hall and husband Stanley, Jr. of Saltillo, PA, Ida Mae Whitsel of Pillow, PA and Jennifer White and wife Christine of Bloomsburg, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Stephen Hall, Bridgette (Hall) Boden, Mandy (Whitsel) Clymans, Jason Hall, Kinda (Whitsel) Brosius, Tiffany Hall and Sara Whitsel, nine great grandchildren, Elizabeth Boden, Allyson Boden, Colton Clymans, Brianna Brosious, Caitlynn Boden, Peighton Hall, Paislee Whitsel, Brody Clymans and Parker Hall and three siblings, Charles A. Williams of Shade Gap, PA, Anna Clark of Lewistown, PA and Sharon Parsons of Blairs Mills, PA.
    
Mrs. White was a member of the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, RD, Shirleysburg, PA, where she served for a number of years as a Sunday School teacher, church treasurer and youth leader and also helped with Bible School.
    
She was a stay at home mom and also worked on the White farm.
    
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, 17193 Hill Valley Road, Shirleysburg, PA with Rev. Jim Hullihen officiating. Interment will be made at Monroe Valley Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA. Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA 6 - 8 PM Saturday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
    
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, 17193 Hill Valley Road, Shirleysburg, PA 17260.
