Peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  Loving mother of Nicole Clark; stepdaughter of Shirley; sister of Valerie Akers (Michael), William III, Emmett (Patina), Shirleta and Stefanye; niece of Maurice (Delamar); sister-in-law of John Clark (Marva).

Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 5 in the chapel of Hoton's Funeral Home, 600 Kennedy Street NW.  Visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations should be made to a charity of choice.
