Mae Thompson

Born on May 29, 1933 in Fairfield, VA and called to heaven on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Wise, Bessie Hayes and Geraldine Kitchens; and brothers Walter Dickerson, Martin Dickerson and Thomas Dickerson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters: Carolyn Braxton, Angelita Thompson, Deborah Thompson and Sandra Thompson; son-in-law: Darnell Braxton; extended daughters: Karleane Johnson and Cheryl Jenkins; six grandchildren: Dion Thompson, Ashley Thompson, Devonna Thompson-Rose, Jenelle Braxton, LaToya Thompson and Malik Addison; extended grandchildren: Shatiya Johnson and Woodrow Johnson III; great-grandchildren: Madyson and Ariel; Goddaughter: Joyce Hayes; her siblings: Barbara Sheffield, George Dickerson, William H. Dickerson and Charles R. Dickerson and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 5000 St. Barnabas Road, Temple Hills, MD 20748.
