Russel Taormina

Mr. Russel Taormina of Kearny died on Thursday at home. He was 87.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church in Kearny. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Condon Funeral Home 684 Kearny Ave., Kearny on Monday between 4 - 8 p.m.

Russel served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired as a foreman from Jersey Millwork in Jersey City in 1989.

Mr. Taormina was predeceased by his wife, Rose (nee Ritchie) in January of last year. He is survived by his children: Linda Humphrey-Paterno (Frank), Susan Taormina and Russell (Kathy) Taormina. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Jeff, Josh, Melissa, Nicole and Steven; and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers kindly make donations to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
