Kathy Sprague

Kathy A. Kough Sprague, 49, formerly of Rockhill Furnace, PA and more recently of New Kingstown, PA, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA.
    
Born February 5, 1969 at Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edgar “Bub” and Jeanann (Bowes) Kough. She was united in marriage to Darryl Sprague on February 28, 2014. Mr. Sprague survives at their home.
    
She is also survived by two daughters, Kassidy Ann Glunt and her companion Caleb Roher of Rockhill Furnace, PA and Kinslee Addison Glunt of New Kingstown, PA, one brother, Kirby Kough of Rochester, MN, two nieces Payton and Audrey Kough, two stepchildren, Josh Sprague and his fiance Shannon Patrick of Carlisle, PA and Andrea Sprague of New Kingstown, PA and three step granddaughters, Brailyn, Riley and Cambry Sprague, all of Carlisle.
    
Mrs. Sprague was a graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School in the Class of 1987, where she was a member of the band and the girls basketball team. She graduated from Hagerstown Business College in 1989.
    
She had been employed by Palmer Construction Co., McConnellsburg, PA for 15 years. She was currently employed by the Cumberland Valley School District as a paraprofessional in the Autism Support Class.
    
She enjoyed family events, watching her children’s sporting events, family vacations and social media.
    
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Travis Mellott officiating. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 5 - 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
