Gary Sockwell passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

Beloved husband of Brenda R. Sockwell; caring father of: Gary Sockwell, Jr., Emanuel Sockwell, Marcquette Matthews, and TaMar Matthews; also 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 1 aunt; a host of other relatives; Brenda Gainey; Denise House; Raymond Lyons; Steven Sockwell; Calvin Lyons; a close friend, Jane Walker; and a host of relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on December 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. and service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Spirit of Faith Christian Center, 2261 Oxon Run Drive, Temple Hills, MD 20748.
