Sylvester Douglas

Sylvester “Lee” Douglas passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, May 8, 2017.  

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 215 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  Visitation with family at 10:00 a.m.; followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.

Lee is survived by his wife, Alma Douglas; parents, Covell and Sylvester Douglas; two brothers; four sisters; four daughters; two sons; three grandsons; one granddaughter; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; two aunts; two uncles; and, a  host of nieces, nephews, and beloved family and friends.  

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
