Martha A. Repp

Martha A. Repp died peacefully on September 12, 2104 in Lebanon, Ill. She was 86. Born in Newark she lived in Kearny for many years before moving to Ill. to be close to her son.

Visiting will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Friday at 10 a.m. in St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton and burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Martha had 26 years of service with the U.S. Postal service before retiring in 1999. She was a caring, loving and giving person, with a heart of gold. She traveled the world, enjoyed a good time and never met a person she didn't like. She is predeceased death by her husband Joseph of 53 years, her parents James and Anna Metsopulos, her brothers Charles, George, Jerry, Louis, Nick and sister Helen.

She is survived by her beloved son Joseph and his wife Nancy, grandsons Nicholas and Thomas and her brothers Peter and John. She holds a special place ion her heart for Daniel and Gabrielle. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
