C. Benito Perez

C. Benito Perez died peacefully at home on August 13, 2014. He was 85,. Born in Cuba, he lived in Harrison before moving to Kearny in 1977.

Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Saturday 10 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Benito owned Perez Auto Center in Newark. He is survived by his wife Gina (nee Vega). Father of Benny Perez (Dana), and Jorge Perez. He is the brother of Aida, Idalia and Umbe. Also surviving are his grandchildren Jessica and Christian.
