Joan M. LoDolce

Joan M. LoDolce, 78 of Tafton, PA passed away peacefully January 23, 2015 surrounded by her family. Joan was a graduate of Mary Immaculate School of Nursing, Jamaica, NY. The daughter of the late John "Jack" and Ruth (Marriott) Trainor, she was born July 18, 1936 in Queens, NY. She was married to Robert J. LoDolce.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years; four children - son: John LoDolce of Paupack, PA and daughters: Ellen Geis of Hawley, PA, Susan Marro of Canadensis, PA, Joanne Koch of Douglasville, PA; two sisters: Arlene Roberti of Lords Valley, PA, Kathy Underwood of Kings Park, NY; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joan was predeceased by two sons: Robert LoDolce, Jr., Michael LoDolce and grandson Michael LoDolce, Jr.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 9 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Major officiating.

Burial will take place in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley, PA at the convenience of the family.
