Robert J. Booher

Robert J. Booher, 61, of Valley St., Rockhill Furnace, PA, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his home.

Born March 29, 1953 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Lester B. Booher and Mildred L. (Duncan) Booher who survives of Rockhill Furnace, PA.

He is also survived by one son: Michael David Rogers of Orbisonia, PA; and three siblings: Barbara Nearhood of Mifflintown, PA, Marcia Roller Lake of Shade Gap, PA, and Gregory Booher of Rockhill Furnace, PA.

Mr. Booher had been employed by Henkels & McCoy, Inc., York, PA for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening and working outdoors.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA with Rev. Darrell Nicklow officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA.
