Manuel M. Amaral, 79, of Kearny died on 7/22/14.
 
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Sunday 2-6PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Monday at 10am at St. Cecilia's Church, Kearny.  Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
 
Born in San Miguel Azores, Portugal he lived most of his life in Kearny.  He was a retired Laborer/Carpenter.  Mr. Amaral had a love for music and played the trumpet in a traveling marching band.
 
He is the beloved husband of the late Maria Jose Medeiros Amaral.  Dear Father of Maria Vitone (Joseph) and Marie J De Sousa Leite.  Brother of 5 brothers and sisters, he was predeceased by one brother.  Grandfather of Amy-Li, Caterina, Joseph, Priscilla and Alexandra.  Great Grandfather of 4 Grandchildren.
